Cultivating Sustainability, Strengthening Communities.

During Sri Lanka’s financial crisis, MODC recognized the need for self-reliance and sustainable income options for rural families.
This led to the creation of our Plantation Sector, designed to empower small-scale farmers while promoting healthy, organic food production.

What We Grow

MODC cultivates a range of organic spices, including:

These crops not only reflect Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural heritage but also provide farmers with reliable, long-term income opportunities.

Game Kulu Badu – Our Organic Spice Brand

To support small-scale growers, we have launched Game Kulu Badu, a premium spice brand rooted in freshness, purity, and ethical production.

At MODC, our spice initiative is designed to create a win-win model that benefits both consumers and farming communities. Through our Game Kulu Badu brand, we ensure every product delivers exceptional quality while empowering rural families with fair and sustainable income.

Superior Weight & Value

Our spice packs contain over 10% more weight than most products in the market.
Example: while others offer 50g, our packs proudly offer 55g — giving customers more value for their money.

Each product is made from No.1 grade ingredients, free from artificial colors, preservatives, or fillers.
This ensures that customers receive only pure, natural, and authentic Sri Lankan spices.

Despite offering higher quality and quantity, our spices are priced 20% lower than the average market price.
We make healthy, organic products accessible to every household.

MODC is committed to improving the lives of rural farmers.
We pay 50% more than the standard market price for their harvest, ensuring stable income and long-term sustainability for farming families.

Distribution Strategy

Our distribution model is designed to uplift communities while expanding market reach — creating opportunities for families across rural Sri Lanka.

Partnering with Major Retailers

We collaborate with trusted retailers in key regions to ensure MODC spices are widely available and easily accessible.

We aim to appoint a network of self-employed women entrepreneurs, inspired by the Soubhagya scheme.
Our goal is to build a team of 200 women within the next 5 years, providing them with income opportunities through spice distribution.

By partnering with a minimum of 200 farmers, we create a connected ecosystem where growers, distributors, and MODC all work together for mutual success.

As part of this distribution network, every participant — including farmers and sales representatives — will help guide children’s education through our Book Project.
